Welcome!

Welcome back to another quarter Mustangs!

Even though it’s barely the beginning of the winter quarter, things are already in full swing at the Mustang Daily.

We started off the quarter on a bit of a sad note with the deaths of former Cal Poly President Robert E. Kennedy and modern literature and languages department chair William “Memo” Martinez, Jr. But with the sadness came a bright note when Cal Poly announced the new university president in Jeffrey D. Armstrong, the dean of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and professor of animal science at Michigan State University.

At the moment, the dedicated staff of students who work at the Mustang Daily have hit the grindstone hard as we prepare to put out the Mustang Daily Job Fair edition on Tuesday, Jan. 18 as well as the “Best For” edition in the middle of February.

Things have started out fast and they don’t show any sign of slowing down but the staff is excited about the different story ideas and special editions we have planned for the upcoming quarter. So as you poke around this blog, feel free to comment or stop by the Mustang Daily newsroom in the Graphic Arts building, room 226 any day during the week and see what we do.

Things get crazy but I promise we don’t bite. Until then, enjoy the blog and keep reading the Mustang Daily!

This blog is a great idea; I´ll check it often!

  2. I actually extremely prefer anything you place in this article. Incredibly insightful plus intelligent. One situation however. I’m operating Safari by using Debian plus parts within your current style types absolutely are a minimal wonky. I actually realize it’s not much of a common put in place. Nevertheless it’s a specific thing so that you can have in view. I actually trust not wearing running shoes might enable plus always keep in the prime level of quality crafting.
